MEMORIES OF MUSWELL HILL
I enjoyed Christine Cryne’s article in the June/July edition about the Muswell Hillbilly brewery. Christine said there doesn’t seem to be a record of commercial brewing in the area for the last 500 years. There was a short lived Firkin brewery on Muswell Hill Broadway between 1997 and 1998 called the Fantail & Firkin. The late Andy Milne, the brewer there, gave me a personal tour shortly after it opened.
