Ted, who edited CAMRA’s newspaper, What’s Brewing, for eight years, has passed away at the age of 68 after a long illness. Born in Worksop, he was a professional journalist and also worked for the Morning Advertiser. He wrote a number of books on pubs, beer and brewing and was a founder of the British Guild of Beer Writers. His book, Historic Inns of England, won the Guild’s silver tankard award in 2000.
