Unlike the Good Beer Guide, this is not a guide that focuses on beer quality; this is all about the pubs themselves, in particular their historically important interiors. It covers 249 pubs and is illustrated throughout with top quality colour photographs. It also contains a number of explanatory articles and features, such as a profile of the architect, T H Nowell Parr.
