CAMRA has taken its collaboration with beer quality promoters Cask Marque into a new area. From now on, Cask Marque’s four and five-star ratings for beer quality and cellar hygiene are being added to the pub information available on CAMRA’s website and there will be filters to help users to find those pubs that have the best ratings. CAMRA’s national chairman, Ash Corbett-Collins, said, “There’s nothing better than a pint of top-quality cask beer in a pub. That’s why we want to make the CAMRA website the go-to place to find your next pint. We’re really pleased to partner with Cask Marque so that consumers can now search for pubs with high beer quality and cellar hygiene ratings”. Cask Marque’s executive director, Paul Nunny, added, “Great beer starts with great cellar practices. The beer and cellar rating helps pub-goers find establishments that prioritise quality, just like a food hygiene rating does for your dining out.” The pub information on the website is maintained by CAMRA members and it is available to all, not just CAMRA members.
