
CAMRA Books publications have recently won three awards from the British Guild of Beer Writers. The awards, which are intended to recognise excellence in beer, cider and pub writing, were presented in November. The Devil’s In The Draught Lines by Dr Christina Wade won the Gold award in the Best Book about Beer or Pubs category. The Gold award in the Susanna Forbes Award for Best Communication about Cider category went to Adam Wells for Perry: A Drinker’s Guide, the first dedicated guide to this traditional beverage. Manchester’s Best Beer Pubs and Bars by Matthew Curtis won the Silver award in both the Best Book about Beer or Pubs and the Best Communication about Beer and Travel categories. CAMRA’s Learn & Discover on-line platform also won a number of awards for individual articles. You can purchase books published by CAMRA at the online bookstore.
