Mick’s friend, Iain Bell, has informed me that Mick died following a cycling accident in Norfolk in September. Mick was an active member of CAMRA’s East London & City branch. He was a stalwart local pub campaigner and kept the branch updated on all the news in his local area of Tower Hamlets as well as cam-paigning to keep local pubs open by objecting to the council when he heard of any planning notices. He was one of the many helpful people who provide information on pubs for London Drinker and also distributed this magazine. Iain added that Mick was a highly popular and respected member of their cycling club and his CAMRA colleagues feel the same way. He will be sorely missed by us all.
