Announced in late July, the Greater London winner then enters a \u2018super-regional\u2019 round from which four finalists are judged for the overall national award, won for 2024 by the Bailey Head in Oswestry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact <a href=\"https:\/\/londondrinker.camra.org.uk\/wordpress\/index.php\/2025\/05\/20\/branch-diaries-june-july-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">your local CAMRA branch<\/a> if you would like to join their team of judges and help decide the 2025 winner.\u00a0 Why not visit our 12 award-winning pubs and see how you rate them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s London competition comprises four pubs that are owned by or related to breweries and eight, including two micropubs, that are free of tie.&nbsp; promotion and knowledge of real ale; cleanliness and staff hygiene; community focus; service and welcome; style, d\u00e9cor and atmosphere; sympathy with CAMRA\u2019s aims; and overall impression and value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find the judging guidelines on the regional website: <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.london.camra.org.uk\/\">www.london.camra.org.uk<\/a>.&nbsp;
