The result is due no later than early July and will be reported in the next edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries this year include five micropubs and three pubs that are new to the regional competition.<br>The judging criteria and weightings, as adopted last year from CAMRA\u2019s national competition, are unchanged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quality and condition of real ale\/cider\/perry (x2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion and knowledge of real ale (x2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleanliness and staff hygiene (x2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community focus and atmosphere (x2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service, welcome and offering (x1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Style, d\u00e9cor and furnishing (x1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sympathy with CAMRA aims (x1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall impression and value (x1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All members are encouraged to join in the regional judging. You can then see for yourselves how the winning branch pubs compare. There are no limits on the number of judges; just find times that suit you. You need to visit all 13 pubs and, remember, your visits need to be anonymous and unannounced.
