It tells how \u2018desis\u2019 (people with Indian heritage) saved many failing pubs and turned them into a joyful festival of mixed grills, naans and curries, all washed down with plenty of beer. Mr Jesudason visited desi pubs all over the country and experienced a range of events, from rowdy cricket fans to vibrant bhangra nights and football supporters enjoying pre-match mixed grills and beers. This book is a celebration of modern Britain and some of the forgotten people who created our multicultural country.
