Taproom for Great Beyond Beers who are a small craft brewery of sustainably produced beers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>E5, MERMAID<\/strong>, 181 Clarence Rd. Reopened as a bar\/restaurant in October 2022 called <strong>BLACK HEN<\/strong>. No Real Ale<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>E5, RIVER LEA BOATHOUSE<\/strong>, Boathouse, Spring Hill. Mainly an events venue it does hold regular events that are open to the public such as Music nights on a Friday and Roast Dinners on a Sunday. Bar only has keg beer but does overlook the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EC1, SMITHFIELD MARKET ARMS<\/strong> (ex BrewDog), 55 Charterhouse St. Reopened as <strong>TEMPLE OF ART &amp; MUSIC SMITHFIELD<\/strong> (TAM) live music venue. No real ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EC1, THREE COMPASSES<\/strong> (Heineken\/Shannon Pubs), 66 Cowcross St. Real Ale reinstated &#8211; a changing beer such as Timothy Taylor Landlord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EC1, WHITE BEAR<\/strong>, 57 St John St. Reopened by Breaking Bread Group. No real ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EC3, CROSSE KEYS<\/strong> (Wetherspoon), 7-12 Gracechurch St. Reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HAM, HAND &amp; FLOWER<\/strong> (Stonegate), 24 Upper Ham Rd. Reopened November 2022 under new tenancy. Twickenham Naked Ladies and a guest such as Oakham Citra or Sharps Atlantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N1, DAY &amp; NIGHT<\/strong>, 58 Penton Street, N1 9PZ. Reopened in November 2022 as <strong>HICCE HART<\/strong>. Three handpumps dispensing a cider and two wines! No Real Ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N1, HUNTER S<\/strong> (Stonegate), 194 Southgate Rd. Real Ale reinstated &#8211; Sharp&#8217;s Doom Bar and Timothy Taylor Landlord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N7, HOUSE OF HAMMERTON<\/strong> (Hammerton Brewery), 99 Holloway Rd. Real Ale reinstated. A varying beer from Hammerton starting with N1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NW1, 3 LOCKS BREWERY TAP ROOM<\/strong>, Unit S14, Water La. Opened in December a new Taproom for the 3 Locks Brewery which can be seen through the glass partition. There is a large area upstairs and seating at the front which faces the Regent&#8217;s Canal. Initially just the one beer from 3 Locks &#8211; a pale ale using English hops. There are 9 other taps with beers from such as Brick and Brixton. Food can be brought in from nearby vendors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NW1, WHITE MUSTACHE<\/strong> (Camden Council\/Mendoza), 7 Stanhope Parade, Stanhope St. Reopened as <strong>REGENTS LOUNGE<\/strong>. No Real Ale<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE2, ABBEY ARMS<\/strong> (Dirty Liquor (Stonegate)), 31 Wilton Rd. Real ale reinstated. A guest such as Purity Mad Goose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE16, CLOUDWATER TAP ROOM<\/strong>, 73 Enid St. Cask Cloudwater beer maybe available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW2, CROWN &amp; SCEPTRE<\/strong> (Urban &amp; Urban Properties Ltd), 2-4 Streatham Hill. Reopened under new management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW6, DURELL ARMS<\/strong> (GK), 704 Fulham Rd. Real Ale reinstated &#8211; Greene King Abbot, a house bitter and a guest such as Wimbledon Copper Leaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW18, HOP POLE<\/strong> (Shepherd Neame), 64 Putney Bridge Rd. Shepherd Neame Master Brew reinstated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW19, WATERMILL BAR<\/strong>, Shop, Merton Abbey Mills, 3 Watermill Way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W1, BARLEY MOW<\/strong> (Grosvenor Estates), 82 Duke St. Reopened by the upmarket Cubitt House chain in late 2022. Up to four cask ales are reported, and there is a select barfood menu and a restaurant upstairs, both with prices that reflect the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W2, CORK &amp; BOTTLE<\/strong> (Gresham Collective), 27 Spring St. A welcome addition to the Paddington beer scene, the <strong>BEAR<\/strong> is the newest pub from the Independent pub company owned by Martin Hayes and Peter Slezak &#8211; The Craft Beer Co, serving 6 Real Ales, 29 craft beers on keg and an extensive range of Belgian bottled beers and Alcohol Free Beers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W11, QUIET NIGHT INN<\/strong> (Max Barney Pub Company\/Forest Road Brewery), 60 Great Western Rd. Two Real Ales from Forest Road &#8211;Work and Ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W12, ESCAPE BAR WEST<\/strong> (Stonegate), 174 Goldhawk Rd. Reopened and reverted to O&#8217;DONOGHUE&#8217;S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WC1, EASTON<\/strong> (Stonegate), 22 Easton St. Real Ale reinstated:- Sharp&#8217;s Doom Bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WC2, CHESHIRE CHEESE<\/strong> (Shepherd Neame), 5 Little Essex St. After a period of openings and closures, Shepherd Neame sub-leased the site to a new operator and it again reopened at the end of September 2022, operated by Blighty Pub Company. Real ale reinstated Shepherd Neame Spitfire and Whitstable Bay Pale Ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>OUTER LONDON<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CROYDON, ALMA TAVERN<\/strong> (Heineken), 127-129 Lower Addiscombe Rd. Cask ale is occasionally available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ENFIELD<\/strong><strong>, SUN &amp; WOOLPACK<\/strong> (GK), 640 Hertford Rd. Greene King have moved this pub into their &#8216;Hive&#8217; franchise concept, a branded community pub model. Real ale reinstated, usually Greene King IPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ORPINGTON, CHELSFIELD LAKES GOLF CENTRE<\/strong>, Court Road. Open to all Golf Centre bar. Closed following end of lease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE8, BLACK HORSE<\/strong> (Dirty Liquor (Stonegate)). Appears pub closed in late Dec 2022, reason unknown, though pub\u2019s website states aim to reopen at some point in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE8, GIN &amp; BEER<\/strong> Having closed in Jan 2020 reportedly due to high rent and not enough trade. New restaurant opened in the same premises in summer 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE12, EDMUND HALLEY<\/strong> (Wetherspoon). Closed on Friday 30th December 2002, reason for Wetherspoon action unknown but it is known that redevelopment of Leegate centre, of which the pub is a part, remains in active planning consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE14, NEW CROSS HOUSE<\/strong> (GK). No longer sells real ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE15, BEER SHOP LONDON<\/strong>. Lease not renewed so landlords can do some essential works and redevelop the building. Closed after last sales on Thursday 22nd December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE18, LORD RAGLAN<\/strong>. Closed after death of licensee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE18, MELBOURNE ARMS<\/strong>. After 8 years of operation the brewery and taproom closed at Christmas 2022..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE28, CUTTY SARK<\/strong> (Castlecrown Hotels). Future uncertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BEDFONT, BEEHIVE<\/strong> (Fullers). Closed following sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BROMLEY, OAK<\/strong> (Tavern Property Co). No longer sells real ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KINGSTON<\/strong><strong>, WHELANS<\/strong> (Heineken\/Whelans). Now Locale accredited for Redemption beers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NW1, LANDMARK<\/strong>. Now the <strong>GREAT CENTRAL PUB<\/strong> with its own entrance within the 5-star Landmark hotel. It serves a few draught beers including Guinness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE25, KILKENNY TAVERN<\/strong> (Stonegate). Reverted to <strong>WHITE HORSE<\/strong> after being called The HOLMESDALE, and then from 2021 the Kilkenny Tavern. Still no real ale,.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW1, COMEDY<\/strong> (Stonegate). Renamed <strong>COACH HOUSE<\/strong> following refurbishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW6, BEDFORD ARMS<\/strong> (Stonegate).
