Reopened and renamed <strong>ROOKWOOD VILLAGE <\/strong>by Urban Village pubs in September 2020 following a complete, high quality, refurbishment of the ground floor of the previous pub. A mixture of booths and table with a patio to the rear. 4 cask ales are sold and the pub aims to have a locally brewed beer available. Initially Doom Bar with 3 guests including Brentwood and Sharp\u2019s Atlantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>E17, TRUMAN&#8217;S SOCIAL CLUB <\/strong>(Black Eagle Brewery), 1 Priestley Way. Future taproom and event space for the Truman&#8217;s Brewery. Opened 4 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N14, KING\u2019S GATE <\/strong>(Ei Group\/Craft Union), 110-112 Chase Side. Real ale installed: Sharp\u2019s Doom Bar and Atlantic. Was WISHING WELL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NW5, GRAND UNION<\/strong>, Highgate Studios, 53-79 Highgate Road. Reopened in August as <strong>NEVER FOR EVER<\/strong> having closed as a bar in 2012. \u201cSplit across two floors, Never for Ever aims to create a space for the community to come together, featuring a \u2018common room\u2019 space with live music, home-brewed beers and cocktails on tap.&#8221; Keg wall as well as taps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NW6, MILL<\/strong>, 32 Mill La. Newly opened bar which at time of visit had 4 keg beers on draught &#8211; 3 from Kernel and 1 from Signature Brew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE4, JOYCE<\/strong>, 294 Brockley Rd. Craft beer bar with keg wall opened in Dec 2019 in former funeral directors operated by Catcon Pubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SE6, BELLINGHAM EX SERVICEMEN&#8217;S CLUB<\/strong> , 10 Allerford Rd. Sells real ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W1, PASSYUNK AVENUE<\/strong> , 80 Cleveland St. A US-themed bar and restaurant with two TV screens and seats at the bar. It&#8217;s a small, narrow space with two rooms, the bar is in the first which leads on into the slightly smaller back room. On the surveyor&#8217;s visit it had six keg taps. The two house beers, Passyunk Pale and Session IPA had been brewed by Sambrook&#8217;s who also had their Battersea IPA and Rye on tap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W1, SIMMONS OXFORD CIRCUS<\/strong> (Simmons), 203 Wardour St. Opened in July 2019 in former Dirty Harry&#8217;s bar. Prior to that it was Peter Stringfellow\u2019s Angels club and also was once home to the Vortex Club mentioned in the Jam\u2019s song, A-Bomb in Wardour Street. Said to be the largest Simmons venue so far, with six keg beers: two from Camden, Estrella, Peroni, Brew Dog Punk IPA and a house lager were available in Nov 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WC2, LONG ACRE<\/strong> (Stonegate), 1 Upper St Martins La.. Real ale installed in 2019. 3 changing beers such as Fuller&#8217;s London Pride; Sharp&#8217;s Doom Bar; Young&#8217;s London Original<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>OUTER LONDON<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KEW, CRICKETERS<\/strong> (ex-Greene King), 79 Kew Green. Reopened by new operator Marky\u2019s Pubs. Fuller\u2019s London Pride &amp; Sharp\u2019s Doom Bar initially available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HAM, HAND &amp; FLOWER<\/strong> (Ei Group), Upper Ham Road, Richmond, TW10 5LA. Reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TWICKENHAM, TW2 TAPROOM<\/strong>, 80-82 The Green. Officially open with a launch night on the 12 September. Announced it was ceasing operating here on 1 March 2020 to concentrate on its market stalls business as well as developing its own brewery and tap room outlet concept in Eltham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW12, GOOSE ISLAND TAP HOUSE<\/strong>, converted earlier this year to 1910, a &#8216;Mexican cantina&#8217; after two years&#8217; dereliction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SW14, ENROUTE 505<\/strong>. Reported closed as a pub or bar, and now part of the Maguro Japanese\/sushi restaurant site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WC2, ROADHOUSE<\/strong>. The venue has said it will not be reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>OUTER LONDON<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BARKING, VICTORIA <\/strong>(Brakspear).
